Snorting Maradonas

I went to this gig last friday, at the local communists' place. Snorting Maradonas were playing, and here are some pictures, as I promised in yesterdays post. I like the 2 megapixel camera on my cell more and more for every day. Sure, the photos aren't that great, especially not indoors. But it's always with me, so even though I also have a dedicated 5 megapixel camera with better optics, most pictures are taken with the cell. It's the same with the mp3 player. Since I bought the phone, I haven't been using my 20gb creative player at all. Instead I download what I want to listen to to the cell, and that's it. Always with me, no extra gadget to keep an eye on.

Back to the gig. Nostalgia! I haven't really listened to swedish punk rock since the 90's. It took a while but eventually I got used to the tempo and started to like it. Good lyrics and a singer with attitude can't make a bad mix.

It's been a while

It's been a while since I last wrote here. It's still raining, though. Sure, there were a week of sun and the occasionally beer or other alcoholic beverage in the park, but just when you thought summer had come to Sweden, it went away again.

Actually, I'm not that angry. But I like the name of the blog, and it gives me an excuse for ranting. And I always get in the right mood when I log in to it. "Angry Swede, that's me alright. Let's show them what angry is!" Well, I don't think I've been excessively mean, have I? Probably the opposite, I'm usually too nice.


I saw this band the other day, Snorting Maradonas, on a local punk rock gig. I'll probably post some pictures any day now.


On the school front, I'm just a week short of finishing my first year at med school. That's pretty cool. I guess I'll try to summarize the two semesters in a post soon.
