Back home from Bulgaria
I'm sorry for not writing for a while. I've been on vacation in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria.
It was lovely! Sun, sun and sun, everyday. The water was great to swim in, the food and drinks were tasty and pretty cheap, and the hotel was great. The only thing I missed was the real Bulgaria, but we were aware of that before we booked the trip. Sunny Beach is like a gated community, with only approved bulgarians, working in the tourist industry, allowed to enter from the outside. Anyway, we were there for leisure.
We stayed at the Amfora hotel, at southern part of Sunny Beach. It's close to the beach, but a few kilometres from the city centre. It's a wonderful walk along the water down to Flower street, the main commercial street. And if you're tired, the bus stops every fifteen minutes up at the main road, and takes you down to Flower street or the other way to Nessebar in no time. Nessebars old town, by the way, is a wonderful piece of old time. It's also listed as World Heritage by UNESCO.
And now I'm back home again. I'll try to enjoy the swedish sun too, even if it's nothing compared to sunbathing at the wonderful bulgarian shores to the Black Sea.
